OPPORTUNITIES:

Electronic Test & Design Engineer

DARE Electronics, a leading designer of electronic sensing and control devices, is seeking an Electronic Test & Design Engineer. With nearly 50 years’ experience serving the military and aerospace industry, DARE is growing and has a rare opportunity for the right candidate.

As a highly-valued member of DARE’s team, you will be directly responsible for helping ensure DARE maintains its reputation for 100% Quality and On-Time delivery by learning to design, build, and test complex, high-reliability, high-accuracy electronics sensing & control devices.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and laying out printed circuit boards

  • Creating electrical schematics

  • Designing test boxes, manufacturing fixtures, tools, and/or aids

  • Building, testing, and/or inspecting products

  • Troubleshooting product failures

  • Implementing the use of new PCB software

  • Interfacing with customers to understand their requirements

Desired Qualifications / Characteristics:

  • In-Depth Electronics Circuit Knowledge, including AC DC circuits

  • Experience soldering, assembling, and testing electronic circuit boards

  • Basic metrology and machine shop skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as member of a team

  • Willingness to learn

  • Self-Driven / Motivated to excel

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
